Description
The conical lid is a hallmark of the tagine. It ensures that you only need a small amount of water during cooking. The steam that forms inside the tagine collects on the inside of the lid. As a result, the liquid remains in the tagine, making the meat or fish succulent and the vegetables flavorful. The cast iron ensures gradual and even heating, allowing vegetables, meat, fish, and poultry to simmer slowly. The tagine is suitable for use in the oven, microwave, and on gas, induction, ceramic, and electric stovetops. Care: Do not put the tagine in the dishwasher. Dry thoroughly immediately.
