This easy-to-use detector allows you to easily select the detection mode and mark the exact location where objects have been detected using the marking hole. Protected against dust and water splashes (IP54 rating) and featuring a shock-absorbing rubberized housing, the rugged GMS 120-27 detector is designed for the harshest construction site environments. Features and Applications The GMS 120-27 Professional wall scanner detects and locates metal objects, live electrical wires, and wooden studs in drywall. Using a detector before drilling to check for hidden objects in walls increases safety, especially during renovation work when installing cabinets, kitchen countertops, sinks, water heaters, and heating systems, or when installing air conditioners or automatic water-based fire suppression systems.
