Description
Oxygen in the pond is vital for the pond’s flora and fauna, both in summer and winter—in summer, when oxygen consumption is higher, and in winter, when the pond’s surface is frozen. The Ubbink Air®Solar 600 is a pond air pump that draws its energy directly from the sun’s rays hitting the solar panel. It’s the ideal solution for ponds that, due to their location, don’t always have an electrical connection for the pump. The Ubbink Air®Solar 600 operates with five air stones connected to the pump by a hose. Oxygen is released into the water through the air stones, which are connected to the pump by a hose. Each pump outlet is equipped with a diaphragm that moves back and forth under the influence of a magnet (of varying strengths), continuously drawing in and expelling air.
