What's covered, for how long, and how to make a claim

Manufacturer warranty

Most products sold on Bricoza carry the manufacturer's own warranty (for example, brands such as Zodiac, Bosch, Gardena, or GHD). Warranty length and terms vary by brand and product — where available, this is listed on the individual product page. As a general guide, most manufacturer warranties range from 1 to 2 years from the date of purchase and cover defects in materials or workmanship under normal use.

The manufacturer, not Bricoza, is responsible for honoring the manufacturer's warranty — repairs, replacements, or servicing under this warranty are handled directly by the manufacturer or their authorized service network. Bricoza will help direct you to the right manufacturer contact and support you through the process, but is not itself the warranty provider for manufacturer-backed claims.

Manufacturer warranty typically does not cover damage from misuse, normal wear and tear, accidental damage, or unauthorized repairs.

Your legal rights

In addition to any manufacturer warranty, you're entitled to statutory legal protections as a consumer, which vary depending on where you live:

  • EU customers: goods must conform to the contract for at least 2 years from delivery under EU consumer protection law.
  • UK customers: under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described, with specific remedies (repair, replacement, or refund) if something is wrong.

These legal rights exist independently of, and in addition to, any manufacturer warranty, and are not limited or replaced by it.

How to make a warranty claim

    1. Contact us at contact@bricoza.com with your order number and a description of the issue.
  1. Where possible, include photos or a short video showing the fault.
  2. We'll confirm whether the issue is covered and advise next steps — repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the product and manufacturer's process.
  3. Some brands require claims to go directly through their own service centers — if so, we'll point you to the right contact and support you through the process.

What's not covered

  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, or failure to follow the manufacturer's instructions
  • Normal wear and tear (e.g. batteries, filters, blades, consumable parts)
  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • Cosmetic damage that doesn't affect the product's function
