DJI ROMO A2 - Robot Vacuum and Mop - 8.5 cm Obstacle Clearance

Leveraging DJI’s expertise in sensing, AI, and mechatronics, the ROMO A2 adapts in real time to deliver intelligent cleaning. The new 3D ToF LiDAR sensors work in tandem with two fisheye vision sensors to clearly detect obstacles. Millimeter-Level Obstacle Detection precisely identifies and navigates around everyday objects, including transparent items such as glass doors, picture windows, glass tables, and decorative vases. The ROMO 2 Series’ detection system has been redesigned: it detects cables as thin as 2 mm and leverages DJI’s detection expertise to generalize from what it has already seen, helping it detect and avoid even obstacles it has never encountered before. In low-light conditions or around closely spaced furniture, the built-in auxiliary lighting illuminates up to 2,000 cm², revealing dust, small objects, and cables even in the dark. As a result, the ROMO P2 sees clearly in the dark, plans safer and more efficient cleaning paths, and provides more complete coverage with fewer interruptions. The base station uses a nanocrystalline material that resists dirt buildup, while impurities on the mop pad are removed by four high-pressure water jets and a large wastewater suction port, providing up to 365 days of maintenance-free operation. With its high-temperature mop washing at 80 °C and high-temperature dustbin drying, the ROMO A2 delivers exceptionally thorough cleaning. The ROMO A2 is equipped with robotic legs that can navigate single-step obstacles up to 4 cm high and double-step obstacles up to 8.5 cm high, allowing it to access more areas that need cleaning, such as balconies.
